I think the hardest thing about portraits is drawing people you know or doing a selfie. It's difficult to capture their personalities and how they feel, which to me matters more than their bone structure.

I completely agree, emotions are so important in art, it's not about the visual as much as it is about the feelings. You do an amazing job at capturing emotions in your art, I was thinking that even before I read your caption!
